Background
At its fifteenth meeting, the Supervisory Body (SBM) took note of the information note “Analysis of the pros and cons related to framing users’ rights with regard to control versus confirming ownership of accounts holdings” and agreed to proceed with the development of the mechanism registry framing users’ rights with regard to control rather than seeking to confirm ownership of account holdings.
The SBM requested the secretariat to launch a call for stakeholder input on the information note and present a compilation of the inputs received to the SBM at a future meeting.
