2025 - Call for Article 6.4 experts in Accreditation, Methodologies and Climate Policy

A call for experts under the Paris Agreement Crediting Mechanism is now open.

This combined call seeks individuals with expertise in accreditation, methodologies or climate policy to apply for inclusion in the roster of experts and/or to express interest in serving on the Accreditation Expert Panel (AEP), Accreditation Roster of Experts (ARoE), or Methodologies Expert Panel (MEP) for the upcoming term.

This call will remain open until 14 July 2025, 23:59 CEST.

Qualified individuals who wish to be considered by the Supervisory Body are invited to submit their application by clicking the "Application Form" button and completing the required information.

Application process:

Prior to finalizing the application form, applicants should ensure the following:

P11 form is up to date and uploaded into the UNFCCC HR portal;
Have read: -
- Terms of reference: Article 6.4 experts;
- T erms of reference: Article 6.4 experts panels;
- Procedure: Selection and performance evaluation of members of Article 6.4 expert panels;
- Procedure: Selection and performance evaluation of experts on the Article 6.4 mechanism accreditation roaster of experts; and
- The applicable provisions related to working in an individual expert capacity, the code of conduct, conflict of interest and confidentiality as contained in section 3.2, 4.1, 4.2, and 4.3 respectively of the Rules of Procedure of the Supervisory Body (see Annex II).

The selection of experts will be decided by the Supervisory Body and announced in a future meeting report of the Supervisory Body.
