Upcoming at COP31: High-Level event on the launch of the GST2

The incoming COP31 Presidency will host a high-level ministerial event to mark the launch of the second global stocktake (GST2) on Wednesday, 18 November 2026, from 15:00 to 18:00, during COP31 in Antalya. Further details will be made available on the webpage in due course.

Call for Submissions for the Information Collection and Preparation Component of the Second Global Stocktake

About the global stocktake
GST 2
The second global stocktake (2026 - 2028)

The second global stocktake will commence at CMA 8 (Nov 2026) and conclude at CMA10 (Nov 2028). Covering the period of 2024 – 2028, the outcome of GST 2 will inform Parties in updating and enhancing, in a nationally determined manner, their actions and support in accordance with relevant provisions of the Paris Agreement, as well as in enhancing international cooperation for climate action.
