UAE Dialogue on implementing the GST outcomes

Decision 1/CMA.5, para. 97 established the United Arab Emirates dialogue on implementing the global stocktake outcomes. The first UAE Dialogue will be convened in conjunction with SB 64 in June 2026. For more information, please check out the dialogue page.

Annual GST NDC Dialogue

The annual GST dialogue is mandated to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and good practices on how the outcomes of the GST are informing the preparation of Parties’ NDCs, in accordance with para 187 of decision 1/CMA.5. An informal consultation will be held on May 7 2026 in preparation of the third GST NDC Dialogue which will take place at SB64 in June 2026. About the global stocktake
The second global stocktake (2026 - 2028)

The second global stocktake will commence at CMA 8 (Nov 2026) and conclude at CMA10 (Nov 2028). Covering the period of 2024 – 2028, the outcome of GST 2 will inform Parties in updating and enhancing, in a nationally determined manner, their actions and support in accordance with relevant provisions of the Paris Agreement, as well as in enhancing international cooperation for climate action.
