Membership of the KCI
The Katowice Committee of Experts on the Impacts of the implementation of response measures (KCI) is composed of 14 members, with two members from each of the five United Nations regional groups, one member from the least developed countries (LDC), one member from the small island developing States (SIDS) and two members from relevant intergovernmental organizations (IGO).
The International Labour Organisation (ILO) serves as the informal focal point to coordinate the membership of IGOs. Mr. Moustapha Kamal Gueye is the appointed focal point from ILO to coordinate the IGO nominations.
Every two years, the KCI elect two members from among its members to serve as Co-Chairs, taking into account the need to ensure equitable geographical representation
Additionally, the KCI establishes working group and informal network of experts on gender for response measures to support the implementation of its workplan.

The KCI appointed Ms. Catherine Ann Goldberg and Mr. Peter Govindasamy as Co-Chairs of the KCI for the period 2022-2023. The Co-Chairs of the KCI also act as Gender Focal Points of the KCI.
Peter Govindasamy, Catherine Ann Goldberg, Stig Øyvind Uhr Svenningsen, Moustapha Kamal Gueye, Jan-Willem van de Ven, Wael Farag Basyouny Kamel Keshk and Albara Tawfiq are the members of the working group of the KCI.
Ms. Catherine Ann Goldberg and Mr. Peter Govindasamy are the members of informal coordination group for capacity-building under the Convention and the Paris Agreement (ICG) for 2022 representing the KCI.
