2025 ACE Gallery

Following the success of its previous sessions, the ACE Gallery – a poster session on Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE)*, children and youth – will be organized again at the 62nd session of the subsidiary bodies (SB 62) in Bonn, Germany.

The in-person interactions will take place on 19 June 2025 from 13:00 to 15:00 at the World Conference Centre Bonn (WCCB) Foyer.

Due to logistical constraints, virtual options to present or participate are not available.

* Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) is a term adopted by the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change to denote work under Article 6 of the Convention and Article 12 of the Paris Agreement. The over-arching goal of ACE is to empower all members of society to engage in climate action, through the six ACE elements - climate change education and public awareness, training, public participation, public access to information, and international cooperation on these issues.

Objective

Recognizing the importance of bringing together different expertise, resources and knowledge to accelerate ACE implementation through cooperation, collaboration and partnerships, the ACE Gallery aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • Showcase activities that enhance implementation of the Glasgow work programme and its action plan at different levels by diverse stakeholders, including children and youth;
  • Connect and encourage peer-to-peer exchange and networking within the ACE community;
  • Foster opportunities for further engagement and collaboration among initiatives and programmes that extend beyond the ACE Gallery and the ACE Dialogue.

Call for Interest

Through the call for interest, 50 posters will be selected and presented over two poster sessions. The call for interest will be open to all Parties and non-Party stakeholders. The selection process will aim to accommodate broad representation of ACE implementation by Parties, UN organizations, international, non-governmental, civil society and children and youth organizations.

How to submit

Use the following form. Also, download the licensing agreement here and attach the signed agreement to the form. Only a separate link to the poster should be contained in the form, thus limiting the size of the submitted input. The full-sized poster can be shared via Dropbox, OneDrive, WeTransfer, etc.

Submission deadline

How will the posters suggestions be evaluated
