Call for input 2026: SBM021 annotated agenda and related annexes

Background

In accordance with the rules of procedure of the Supervisory Body for the mechanism established by Article 6, paragraph 4, of the Paris Agreement (Annex II to decision 7/CMA.4, paragraph 52), the Supervisory Body shall receive public comments including from stakeholders, on meeting documentation up to one week prior to the meeting, unless otherwise decided by the Chair. 

Input Requested  

A call for inputs has been launched on the issues outlined in the annotated agenda for the 21st meeting of the Supervisory Body (SBM 021). The call for input is open until 11 May 2026.
 
For submissions related to Annex 2 (A6.4-SBM021-AA-A02) and Annex 3 (A6.4-SBM021-AA-A03), the deadline is extended until 13 May 2026.

A separate call for input on the recommendations of the Methodological Expert Panel (MEP) from its 12th and 13th meetings - scheduled for consideration at SBM 021 - was open from 27 April to 6 May 2026. This timeline provides additional time for stakeholder submissions to be compiled and considered in advance of the Supervisory Body’s deliberations.
