The PCCB is composed of twelve members nominated by Parties and elected by the Conference of the Parties for a term of two years. Two members are nominated from each of the five United Nations regional groups, one member from the least developed countries, and one member from the small island developing States. All members serve in their personal capacity.
Each year, the PCCB elects two Co-Chairs from among its members.
Additionally, the PCCB established working groups to support the implementation of its rolling workplan. Read more about the different working groups here.
