Nature Based Solutions Day | 7th Capacity Building Hub
20 November 2025
Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and ecosystem restoration are critical to addressing climate change, biodiversity loss, and land degradation, while also supporting livelihoods, well-being, and resilience. Strengthening capacities for NbS design and implementation is essential to ensure that these solutions are inclusive, evidence-based, and scalable. In line with COP30’s “Peoples’ Circle” initiative, this day will highlight the importance of integrating Indigenous Peoples’ and local knowledge systems and will emphasize synergies across the Rio Conventions, reflecting the need to align action on climate, biodiversity, and land.
