Chairs, Coordinators and advisors of regional groups and constituencies at the consultations on elections convened during the Bonn Climate Change Conference, June 2019

Elections to the supreme, subsidiary and constituted bodies of the Convention, Kyoto Protocol ad Paris Agreement are conducted annually during the Conference of the Parties (COP) according to the draft rules of procedure. At COP 25, members nominated by their regional groups and SIDS, will be elected to serve in a total of 343 positions.

The COP invited Parties to make additional efforts to achieve the goal of gender balance in UNFCCC bodies (see decision 3/CP.23). The current gender composition of bodies as at 12 June 2019 is available here.
