Resumed High-Level Segment of COP 29/CMP 19/CMA 6
The resumed High-Level Segment of COP 29/CMP 19/CMA 6 will be held on Tuesday, 19 and Wednesday, 20 November 2024 and will hear national statements from those Parties whose Head of State or Government did not deliver a national statement on 12 and 13 November 2024 during the first part of the High-Level Segment for Heads of State or Government held during the World Leaders Climate Action Summit, and representatives of groups who have registered and confirmed their wish to deliver a national or group statement.
Upon conclusion of national statements, the resumed High-Level Segment will hear statements from Intergovernmental organizations and groups of non-Governmental organizations admitted by the Conference of the Parties.
Parties will have only one opportunity to deliver a national statement during the resumed High-Level Segment. Parties whose Head of State or Government delivered a national statement on 12 or 13 November 2024 or submitted a written statement in lieu of delivery will not deliver a national statement.

Call for inputs: climate action announcements made at COP 29
The UNFCCC secretariat is tracking climate action announcements made at the twenty-ninth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 29), including the launch of:
- Climate initiatives;
- Pledges and declarations;
- Publications and reports;
- Any other climate action announcements.
This information will be used to inform the Global Climate Action Portal (GCAP), formally known as Non-State Actor Zone for Climate Action (NAZCA), particularly its COP 29 event page. Further information can be found here.

The COP 29 Green Zone Programming Team is pleased to invite all conference participants to join them in the Green Zone during COP 29 for a series of impactful events that address the most pressing climate and sustainability issues of our time. This thoughtfully curated agenda brings together world leaders, experts, and advocates to discuss pathways to a sustainable, resilient future.
Each day’s session will provide unique insights into critical areas of sustainability, from finance and energy to food systems and biodiversity. Together with the conference participants, they will explore actionable strategies to address climate challenges, foster global cooperation, and create a meaningful legacy for COP 29 in Azerbaijan.

Survey on the quality of conference services at COP 29
The UNFCCC secretariat, in collaboration with the Government of Azerbaijan as host country, is committed to providing high-quality conference services that fulfil the demands and requirements of UNFCCC sessions. To help determine the extent to which the secretariat is able to respond to participant needs and to further improve the quality of our conference services, we have launched a survey on operational aspects of COP 29.

Audio-visual recordings
Please note that making any kind of audio-visual recordings during open or closed official meetings is not permitted to conference participants.
Open plenary meetings and press briefings have public webcast (live and on-demand) which are available on the COP 29 schedule page.
Submission of credentials
Parties are reminded that the credentials of representatives of Parties, as well as the names of alternate representatives and advisers, shall be submitted to the secretariat no later than 24 hours after the opening of COP 29/CMP 19/CMA 6. Parties are reminded that in accordance with decisions 17/CP.9, 36/CMP.1 and 2/CMA.1, only one set of credentials is necessary to cover the participation of Parties in COP 29, CMP 19 and CMA 6. Duly signed original credentials, should be deposited during COP 29, CMP 19 and CMA 6 at the Information Counter located in the Service Hub Area C in the conference venue. To ensure proper handling and delivery to the repository, no other office or authority of the secretariat or the host country has been designated to receive credentials.
The Green Zone

On behalf of the Presidency, please be informed that accredited COP 29 participants do not require to purchase any tickets to enter the Green Zone, as their badge suffices. We are pleased to inform you that a 10% price reduction has been implemented at all food and beverage outlets within the Green Zone, effective today.
Welcome Pack for COP 29
All conference participants are invited to retrieve their “COP 29 water bottle" at the Distribution Counter in the Service Hub Area C. The Distribution Counter is open from Monday, 11 to Friday, 22 November 2024 from 08.00 hrs. to 18.00 hrs. (except Sunday, 17 November – when the conference premises are closed).
Zero tolerance towards harassment
Please be reminded that all COP 29 participants are expected to follow the Code of Conduct.
The UN Climate Change secretariat and the COP 29 organizers will apply a zero-tolerance approach to any form of harassment, including sexual harassment, and will deal with such complaints promptly.
We encourage reporting of any incident either directly to any badged UN Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) officer or by calling the United Nations Security Control Centre, which is open 24 hours a day at +994 102 569 409. You may also report an incident to SpeakUp@unfccc.int at any time.
