Resumed High-Level Segment (HLS) at COP 29

The resumed High-Level Segment (HLS) of COP 29/CMP 19/CMA 6 was held on Tuesday, 19 and Wednesday, 20 November 2024. The national statements was heard of those Parties whose Head of State or Government (HOS/G) did not deliver a national statement on 12 and 13 November 2024 during the first part of the HLS for HoS/G held during the World Leaders Climate Action Summit (WLCAS), and representatives of groups who have registered and confirmed their wish to deliver a national or group statement.
 
Upon conclusion of the national statements, the resumed HLS heard the statements from Intergovernmental organizations and groups of non-Governmental organizations admitted by the Conference of the Parties.
 
Parties had only one opportunity to deliver a national statement during the resumed HLS. Parties whose HoS/G delivered a national statement on 12 or 13 November or submitted a written statement in lieu of delivery did not deliver a national statement.
