Partnership for Electromobility Declaration
|
The High-Level event led by the United Nations Secretary General, Mr. Antonio Guterres and the Polish Prime Minister, Mr. Mateusz Morawiecki will introduce the Declaration Driving Change Together – Katowice Partnership for E-Mobility, proposed jointly by Poland and the UK. The COP24 President Michal Kurtyka, together with partnering governments and sub-national authorities, as well as businesses and NGOs will launch a dedicated framework for the Partnership and discuss the benefits of e-mobility for climate and the global economy.

How can Internet of Things help to protect the environment? Polish government’s approach.
|
On the 13th of December from 15pm to 17 pm during the UN Climate Summit will take place a session hosted by the Minister of Digital Affairs. The Session will be focused on the role of Internet of Things technology and its impact on the climate issues. The content of the session will be based on conclusions from The Working Group of Internet of Things that is the form of government-business dialog conducted by the Ministry.
15.00 – 15.20 pm – Minister Karol Okoński, Minister of State in the Polish Ministry of Digital Affairs. Welcome Speech for our Guests and the session opening presentation;
15.20 – 16.40 pm – Debate between the government representants and the business, focused on the issue of:

How to make use of the IoT technology for the economy development and the environment protection,
-
development barriers and necessary governmental activities,
-
taking part of Polish IoT business in the global one.
Debate will be moderated by the Minister advisor and IoT working Group President, Mr Leszek Maśniak.
The Guests of this debate will represent the government and business environments.
