The World Bank-managed Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery is scaling up disaster risk management efforts and building resilience in vulnerable countries. This year - with the post-2015 MDGs Summit in New York, and the UN Climate Change Conference in Paris - will be a big opportunity to expand the global commitments to bring disaster resilience to scale.
