The UNFCCC secretariat has made an improved, and free, “Negotiator App” available in the Google and iTunes stores in time for the UN Climate Change Conference in Paris (30 November to 11 December). The app has new features, in particular a push notification function to relay messages to mobile devices.

New features and enhancements of the app are:

• Direct access to official documents, the Daily Programmes and other key UNFCCC products available online. This means there are no intermediate clicks to webpages before reaching documents. 
• An extended social media section.
• The section “News” now displays the latest news from the UNFCCC Newsroom. 
• The “Info for Participants” section displays up-to-date information from the COP21 Information Hub.
• The schedule of the Lima-Paris Action Agenda events is integrated into the app.
