Background

The Least Developed Countries Expert Group (LEG) organizes side events during the SBs and the COP to discuss the experiences and progress made by the least developed countries (LDCs) in addressing adaptation, and the support provided by the group to the LDCs on adaptation.

Objectives

The event will feature the updated NAP technical guidelines and the 2025 NAP progress report, and will discuss support programmes that assist LDCs in implementing NAPs. The guidelines provide guidance on financing and implementation, while the report tracks progress across the GGA targets. The event will also highlight recent products and tools developed by the LEG.
