Abstract

The Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA), at its thirtysixth session, initiated its consideration of the work programme on a common tabular format for electronic reporting of information (hereinafter referred to as the common tabular format) in accordance with the "UNFCCC biennial reporting guidelines for developed country Parties" as contained in decision 2/CP.17, annex I. The SBSTA invited Parties to submit, based on the reporting guidelines, their views, by 13 August 2012, on the common tabular format and requested the secretariat to compile these submissions into a miscellaneous document. The secretariat has received five such submissions from Parties. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, these submissions are attached and reproduced in the language in which they were received and without formal editing. In line with established practice, the submissions received have also been posted on the UNFCCC website
