This document presents the advance findings of the work by the Expert Group on Technology Transfer on its elaboration of a strategy paper for the long-term perspective beyond 2012, including sectoral approaches, to facilitate the development, deployment, diffusion and transfer of technologies under the Convention as input to the fifth session of Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention. It presents an integrated strategy with a long-term vision, strategic objectives and concrete options as well as the possible implementation approaches. The final report of this work will be made available for consideration by the subsidiary bodies at their thirtieth sessions
