This note provides information on the status of submissions of fourth national communications and reports demonstrating progress under the Kyoto Protocol from Parties included in Annex I to the Convention (Annex I Parties). It also provides information on the reviews by expert teams of these submissions, which are coordinated by the secretariat. At the time of the preparation of this note and as shown in this document, the secretariat had received 38 fourth national communications1 and 35 reports demonstrating progress under the Kyoto Protocol from Annex I Parties. All national communications and reports demonstrating progress under the Kyoto Protocol received so far have been posted on the UNFCCC website at: and .
