This report has been prepared in response to decision 1/CMP.3 requesting the Adaptation Fund Board to report on its activities at each session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP), and covers the period from 30 November 2011 to 30 June 2012. The Chair of the Adaptation Fund Board will report orally to the CMP at its eighth session on activities carried out from 1 July 2012 to December 2012. The report provides information on progress made with respect to the Adaptation Fund, in particular on the implementation of tasks mandated by the CMP, and recommends actions to be taken by the CMP, as appropriate.
