Global Climate Action Agenda and Marrakech Partnership at COP 31

The Global Climate Action Agenda's 2026-2030 vision is now underway. Developed by the COP 30 and COP 31 Presidencies, the Climate High-Level Champions and the Marrakech Partnership, the Global Climate Action programme at COP 31 will focus on progress made since COP 30, identifying remaining barriers to implementation, and accelerating progress towards the Global Climate Action Agenda's six axes and thirty objectives. Particular emphasis will be placed on demonstrating tangible outcomes, tracking emerging indicators of progress, and highlighting solutions that can be replicated and scaled.

By bringing together actors working on shared objectives across sectors and geographies and aligning with the COP 31 Thematic Days, the Global Climate Action programme at COP 31 will strengthen delivery efforts, foster collaboration, and support implementation of the COP 31 Presidency's priorities within the broader framework of the Global Climate Action Agenda, the first Global Stocktake outcomes, while looking ahead towards the second Global Stocktake.

Axis 4: Building Resilience for Cities, Infrastructure and Water
Axis 5: Fostering Human & Social Development
Axis 6: Unleashing Enablers and Accelerators including on Financing, Technology and Capacity-Building
