Session 2 – Knowledge and good practice sharing: Capacity-building for NDCs
- In this session, participants will share from their experience good practice on developing and retaining the capacities needed in the development and implementation of NDCs.
- This session will have 4 rapid-fire stations organized around guiding questions. Each station will start with an ice-breaker experience shared by a Party and will be moderated/facilitated by relevant development organizations.
- The 4 thematic rapid-fire stations will be:
- Approaches to identify and address capacity gaps and needs
- Approaches to integrate capacity- building needs in NDCs 3.0
- Approaches for retaining capacity
- Approaches for increasing effectiveness of capacity building activities particularly as regard to accessing and mobilizing finance

Session 3 – Support needed and provided in the context of building and retaining capacity
In this dialogue, support organizations will share the support available for the development and retention of capacities with a view towards the preparation of new NDCs. The organizations will in their inputs reflect on the discussions from Session 2.
