The registration will take place from 8:30-9:00 on Thursday 18 May
*Kindly note that the meeting will NOT take place at the main UN Campus
Accessing the venue
Access to the venue is restricted to members of the Task Force. UN security at the guard house will ask you to provide them with your passport or other official identification document from your country. Having passed the UN security guard house, the entrance to the venue is located immediately on the left-hand side. Please pick up your meeting badge at the registration desk on the ground floor.
Getting to the venue
From Bonn Hauptbahnhof
Take bus number 611 (Direction Heiderhof) and stop at: 'Kanalstrasse'. From this bus stop, turn left, walk about 50 meters and look for the entrance on your right marked 'United Nations'.
From Bonn Bad Godesberg
Take bus number 611 from 'Rheinallee'. The bus stop is located just behind the main subway station in Bad Godesberg. Go to the 'Kanalstrasse' stop (~13 min). From the bus stop, walk straight for about 50 meters and look for the entrance on your right marked 'United Nations'.
Getting to Bonn
There are three airports nearby:

Cologne/Bonn Airport: You can take the bus
SB 60 - Airport Express (departing from bus stop at Terminal 1) to Bonn Main Railway Station (Bonn Hauptbahnhof) (~30 min). Alternatively, you may wish to take a taxi (~25 min)

Düsseldorf Airport: You can take a
train (Deutsche Bahn) to Bonn Hauptbahnhof (~65 min)

Frankfurt/Main Airport: You can either take the high-speed
train ICE (~40 min) to Siegburg/Bonn, then take
tram 66 to Bonn Hauptbahnhof (~25 min). Alternatively, you may take a regular
train (~105 min) to Bonn Hauptbahnhof
Visas
Upon request, an official letter of invitation will be sent to participants. This can be attached to the German visa application. Visas can be obtained from your nearest German embassy or consulate. Addresses can be downloaded from the website of the German Foreign Office.
Security requirements in the building
Please note the standard security requirements that you need to be familiar with when you visit us here at the UN Campus in Bonn:

No big luggage allowed inside the building; maximum size is a backpack or a briefcase or laptop bag (If you have big luggage you will have an option to leave it with security and it will be stored until leaving the premises);

No friends or family members unless they are participants;

Participants should not use the facilities of other offices on the conference floors;

Smoking is only allowed outside the building;

All participants will be checked against their passports/ national ID cards

The participants should not move throughout the building unattended for safety reasons unless really necessary; in that case please inform the Security;

Please report any loss of conference ID badge to the Security for corrective action regarding the access;

Participants should not leave their personal items of value unattended;

Participants should appear at the entrance of the building half an hour earlier in order to ensure that there is enough time to deal with the last minute changes if there are any;

No photos should be taken inside the building.
