Systematic observation will be considered at SBSTA 50, 17-27 June 2019.


Systematic observation was previously considered at SBSTA 49 (1- 8 December 2018), during the Katowice Climate Change Conference (02 - 14 December 2018).

At SBSTA 49, the SBSTA noted that Parties had not been able to agree on conclusions. In accordance with rule 16 of the draft rules of procedures being applied, systematic observation will be considered under the provisional agenda item on research and systematic observation for the next session, SBSTA 50 (June 2019).
