The Global Stocktake at Regional Climate Weeks 2022

The first Global Stocktake is critical to assess collective progress towards the Paris Agreement and identify opportunities for enhanced action and support.

The highly participatory structure of the GST opens the door for stakeholders to provide vital input and contribute to our understanding of global efforts and priority actions. In 2021, UN Climate Change is hosting three Regional Climate Weeks 2022 to engage stakeholders and accelerate implementation ahead of COP27. This opened an opportunity to hold a First Global Stocktake Event in key regions and gather input to shape the path forward.
