Power Clouds Project - Japan and Romania

The Power Clouds Project develops renewable and sustainable energy projects worldwide and manages photovoltaic plants in Romania and Japan. It identifies optimal locations for its solar plants and then supports these projects with business development activities and the resources of engineers, suppliers, skilled builders and partner companies. People can rent a solar panel at one of the solar power plants and fight climate change.

Fast facts:

  • It is estimated that in 25 years each panel will cut C02 emissions by 4,300 kilograms.

The problem

The Earth’s carrying capacity to absorb carbon emissions is limited. It is becoming necessary for countries to adopt new systems based on clean and renewable energy sources.

The solution

People can rent a solar panel at a Power Clouds solar plant. Anyone, can be a direct lender of renewable energy projects that all together can change the fight against climate change. In terms of energy production, we identify two sides: the one of the small/domestic producers and, on the other hand, the one of the big companies.

Helping the planet

The project positively affects the economy and populations of where the plants are built. These solar power plants provide stable, clean energy that powers the national grid. This project also donates and installs solar panels on the roofs of local schools.

Helping people

People who fund the solar panels on the solar power plants are constantly updated regarding the progress of the project and can monitor the energy production of their panels in real-time. Also, they are given tours of the plants that have been built thanks to their contribution.

Scaling Up

Power Clouds plants can be built anywhere where there is suitable weather and a suitable socio-environmental condition. This project is already planning to expand to Africa and South America. Power Clouds have no limits regarding development. It is based on a business model that is flexible and easily adaptable.
