World leaders who travelled to New York to sign the Paris Agreement were able to view a selection of high quality pictures from the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) on their way to the signing ceremony on Friday.
The pictures, taken by photographer Hajü Staudt for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, were printed in black and white and put on display at UN headquarters. They represent some of the landmark moments of the Paris COP21, at which the new universal agreement on climate change was adopted.
