About the event
This event will show encouraging non-State actor solutions in addressing climate change and biodiversity loss simultaneously, contributing to the 2030 Breakthroughs and the Sharm-el Sheikh Adaptation Agenda outcomes. It will explore the interconnectedness of the High-Level Champions priorities themes for COP28 of finance and nature and showcase Non-Party Stakeholders role in bringing about an inclusive, resilient, net zero and nature positive future. It will also provide a space for Indigenous Peoples to call for action on the existing climate action in the energy transition, ecosystem protection and restoration, food systems, and shifting the financial flows at the scale required, including to address adaptation, loss and damage, and just transition.
