Background

Onepoint5 is a consultancy that assists organizations in both the private and public sectors to accelerate their transition to sustainable practices. We provide advice, strategies and actionable solutions with a clear focus on implementation of ambitious climate action.  

Objectives

The goals for this session will be to:

  • Present an overview of emerging trends in sustainable tourism, with a focus on the development of new skills among policy makers and practitioners.

  • Share new thinking and opportunities on capacity building in the tourism sector geared to environmental and climate challenges. 

  • Highlight the importance of ambitious policies from the public sector coupled with active engagement from the private sector. 

  • Provide information about tools, online platforms and other resources that promote sustainability in the tourism sector.
