This document contains detailed information on the initial accounting parameters for the second commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol for Parties included in Annex I with commitments inscribed in the third column of Annex B in the Doha Amendment to the Kyoto Protocol. It also contains annual information, based on the latest 2022 annual submissions, on anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions in 2020 from source categories included in Annex A to the Kyoto Protocol and on greenhouse gas emissions and removals in 2020 from land use, land-use change and forestry activities under Article 3, paragraph 3, forest management under Article 3, paragraph 4, and any other elected activities under Article 3, paragraph 4, of the Kyoto Protocol, as well as information, based on the 2023 annual submissions, on holdings and transactions of Kyoto Protocol units as at 31 December 2021 and 31 December 2022. This document contains values reported by Parties as at 31 August 2023.
