In addition to the list of intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations contained in document FCCC/CP/2004/3, the secretariat has prepared a further list of organizations whose applications for admission as observer organizations were received after the deadline of 6 August 2004. In the interest of facilitating the widest possible participation by observer organizations at the tenth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 10), these organizations have been given the
opportunity for admission at COP 10. This list of intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations (see annex to this document) has been reviewed by the Bureau of the COP. The members of the Bureau have not raised any objections to the
organizations included on this list and these organizations have been advised of their “pre-admittance status” for COP 10 on the understanding that the final authority for their admission rests with the COP. The COP is invited, at its first meeting, to accord observer status to the one intergovernmental and seven non-governmental organizations listed in this addendum
