The Subsidiary Body for Implementation, at its twenty-first session (FCCC/SBI/2004/19, para. 53), solicited information from Parties and intergovernmental organizations on their experiences on the effectiveness of the financial mechanism; this information will be considered in the context of the third review of the financial mechanism and in accordance with the criteria set out in the guidelines annexed to decision 3/CP.4. The secretariat has received three submissions from intergovernmental organizations. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, these submissions are attached and reproduced in the language in which they were received and without formal editing.
