The Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol, by its decision 12/CMP.1, requested the secretariat to report to the Subsidiary Body for Implementation, at its twenty-fourth session, on progress made towards the implementation of the international transaction log (ITL), in particular in relation to the content and timing of the testing and initialization of registry systems.
