The Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI), at its eighteenth session, noted that reporting, in national communications, on activities relating to Article 6 of the Convention should receive particular attention. It invited Parties to submit to the secretariat, by 15 August 2003, their views on possible ways to improve reporting in their national communications on activities aimed at implementing the New Delhi work programme on Article 6 (FCCC/SBI/2003/8, para. 35 (h)). The secretariat has received eight submissions. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, these submissions are attached and reproduced in the language in which they were received and without formal editing.
