Participants are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive international medical insurance for the duration of their stay. The United Nations and the UNFCCC secretariat disclaim all responsibility for medical, accident and travel insurance, for compensation for death or disability, for loss of or damage to personal property and for any other costs or losses that may be incurred during travel or the period of participation at the conference including pre-sessional meetings.
In the interests of the security and safety of all participants and the smooth running of the sessions, the UNFCCC secretariat reserves the right to deny and/or restrict access to the conference premises, or to request participants to leave the premises. The UNFCCC secretariat shall not be responsible for any expenses incurred by participants who are requested to leave the premises or refused registration or access to the sessions for which they have been nominated and/or registered as participants.

Yellow fever:
The Egyptian Government requires visitors from countries where yellow fever is prevalent to have vaccinations; if not, they will not be allowed into the country, travellers from the following countries would require a yellow fever vaccination certificate:
Angola, Argentina, Benin, Bolivia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Colombia, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, French Guiana, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Sudan, Suriname, Togo, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda, Venezuela, Eritrea, Rwanda, Somalia, Tanzania and Zambia.
COVID-19 vaccinations for travelling to Egypt:
It is no longer necessary to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter Egypt.
The country has now removed all travel restrictions related to the pandemic. This includes COVID-19 vaccinations and testing. Passengers are still highly advised to get fully vaccinated against coronavirus to travel to Egypt.
