List of Exhibits

Exhibits serve as a platform for observer organizations to highlight diverse climate change issues at UNFCCC conferences. The successful development of Exhibits over the last decade has led to high popularity among Parties in recent years.

The Government of South Africa has generously provided Exhibit booths for Parties, UN agencies and admitted observer organizations to showcase their work at COP 17/CMP 7. Over 270 exhibits in a wide variety of topics are loosely clustered by thematic groups and include a wide variety of topics. Exhibits are located at the Durban Exhibition Centre (DEC) and will take place throughout the conference period.

The Digital Media Lounge provides a central point for participants to engage with on-line reporters and communications professionals on issues of concern. Participants will be able to present their ideas, tell their stories and interact with ìDigital Mediaî and others while also engaging with civil society around the world through blogs, websites and social media, such as Facebook and Twitter.

The Digital Media Lounge offers a daily programme of mini-events, each 30 minutes in duration. An open area location allows for presentations with TelePresence/video conferencing to an audience of 10-20 persons. Event slots are offered on first come, first served basis.
