Lead reviewers play a key role in supporting the transparency arrangements under the Convention and Kyoto Protocol, including by overseeing the work of expert review teams and providing guidance at the relevant annual meetings of lead reviewers on how to improve the quality, efficiency and consistency of the reviews.

Under the Enhanced Transparency Framework of the Paris Agreement, lead reviewers will continue to play a prominent role by overseeing the work of the technical expert review teams, and ensuring the quality and objectivity of technical expert reviews while providing for their timeliness, continuity and consistency across Parties.

The Lead Reviewers Hub serves as a centralized location for all lead reviewers to easily identify and access information and resources on the latest meetings, as well as background information on the different groups of lead reviewers.
