Call for input 2023 - structured public consultation: Modalities for operation of the Article 6.4 mechanism registry

Background

The Article 6.4 mechanism Supervisory Body is seeking inputs regarding modalities for operation of the Article 6.4 mechanism registry

The Supervisory Body, at its sixth meeting, requested the secretariat to launch a call for public inputs with a view to seeking input from stakeholders (see SB 006 meeting report, paragraphs 25 and 26 ).

This structured public consultation is being conducted as per the request of the CMA (decision 7/CMA.4, paragraph 22), that requested the Supervisory Body to consider broader inputs from stakeholders provided in a structured public consultation process.

Open Call

Stakeholders are encouraged to provide input on:

  • Type of registry;
  • Functional scope of the mechanism registry;
  • Role of the mechanism registry administrator;
  • Mechanism registry procedure;
  • Registry functions that should be referred to the CMA; and
