The impact and extent of losses and damages can vary greatly across different regions in Mali, in the same way as communities perceive such losses and damages differently depending on a variety of external factors, including the presence of other or multiple stressors, including conflict and related displacement. Regardless of their nature, on-the-ground experiences indicate that there are many types of loss and damage, affecting food production, natural resources, infrastructure, and damaging livelihoods.
