The diversity of climate action-related announcements at the summit are proof of the growing global momentum for increased action on climate change.

Many delegations felt inspired by the actions that investors and many companies will be undertaking, and there is a growing realization that climate-related action around the globe is working hand-in-hand with negotiations towards a new climate change agreement in 2015.
