Climate change a hunger-risk multiplier, join the FAO conversation
9 April 2015
Initiative
Climate change directly affects food and nutrition security of millions of people, undermining current efforts to address undernutrition and hitting the poorest the hardest, especially women and children. The Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Global Forum on Food Security and Nutrition have launched an on-line consultation to gain a better understanding of the impact of climate change on food security and nutrition as well as the impact of current dietary preferences and the related food systems.
