PROVISIONAL PROGRAMME

Objective

The SCF will present its latest work including the Fifth Biennial Assessment and Overview of Climate Finance Flows, Progress report on mobilizing USD 100 billion per year, definitions of climate finance, work relating to Article 2.1c of the Paris Agreement and SCF Forum on Finance for Nature-based Solutions. The respective SCF co-facilitators, who led the preparation of the work, will illustrate key outcomes of each work-stream and how it will inform Parties’ discussions on climate finance-related agenda items in Sharm El-Sheikh.

Format

The Co-Chairs will open the event and invite the SCF co-facilitators to present the key outcomes from each work-stream. This will be followed by an open discussion with the participants. Selected representatives from international organizations and think-tanks working on climate finance will be invited to share their expert views to initiate the discussions.
