Join the Implementation Forum at UNFCCC Climate Week 4 in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 7 - 11 September 2026!

With a strong focus on climate action implementation, the forum will be open to a wide range of representatives from different stakeholder groups, from private sector, subnationals, civil society, academia and others to join policy makers in fruitful discussions on collaboration to escalate implementable solutions for ambitious climate action. 

The thematic focus of the events will be based on the six axes of the Global Climate Action Agenda ensuring alignment to the first GST outcomes, while also reflecting broader priorities relevant to implementation, including industrial decarbonization and access to finance.

The Implementation Forum is a key pillar of Climate Weeks, under which Parties and non-Party stakeholders can exchange practical implementation solutions. Convening these discussions at the Climate Weeks helps localize the Action Agenda, highlighting region-specific initiatives while drawing on global expertise and supporting preparations towards the second GST.

Registration

Register here. This registration is solely for the Implementation Forum. Delegates who are already nominated and registered for the mandated events taking place during Climate Week-4 will be able to join the two-day Implementation Forum and do not have to register separately.

Participation in the Implementation Forum will not be separately or additionally funded. In-person participants who wish to attend Implementation Forum in addition to the events of Climate Week-4, for which they have been nominated and registered, are responsible for covering any additional costs of their stay in Baku that arise from participation in the Implementation Forum.

Kindly note that space is limited, and applications will be accepted considering the diversity and balance of representation of stakeholders.

Event information

The format of the diverse events of the Implementation Forum has been designed to facilitate dynamic interactions among participants such as the Implementation Labs, Impact Dialogues, and other UNFCCC events, as well as to provide space for the COP Presidencies to share their priorities.
