FAME (stands for ‘Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles) grant subsidies for all sort of electric vehicles, including two-wheelers and trikes as well as cars, trucks or buses. This scheme, started in 2015 underwent a revision in 2019 where the government has allocated Rs. 10,000 Crore for a period of 3 years commencing from 1st April 2019. Out of total budgetary support, about 86 percent of fund has been allocated for Demand Incentive so as to create demand for xEVs in the country. FAME II aims to generate demand by way of supporting 7000 e-Buses, 5 lakh e-3 Wheelers, 55000 e-4 Wheeler Passenger Cars (including Strong Hybrid) and 10 lakh e-2 Wheelers.

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works has installed, a telematic system that manages the bus services and records data for further optimisation of the public transport system. The related website and mobile application contain a detailed map of the routes and the timetable of buses in order to facilitate passengers in real time. This action was completed in 2018 and its cost was approximately €7,000,000, including maintenance for 5 years.

The measure monitors the general and specific objectives defined in the Transport Development Strategy of the Republic of Croatia (2017 - 2030) in the context of energy efficiency of rail, road, maritime, inland waterway and urban, suburban and regional transport (railway modernization, signaling system, renewal fund of locomotives, wagons, fleet of vessels, logistic integrated platforms, integrated public transport of passengers, etc.). Rail and generally multimodal infrastructure are lagging behind in comparison to highway infrastructure in terms of quality and connectivity. Investments are planned to develop a sustainable, integrated trans-European climate-resilient transport network. In maritime and inland waterway transport, the Republic of Croatia, in consultation with the other Member States, will analyze the feasibility of introducing appropriate mechanisms to ensure the transition to low carbon solutions, in particular with regard to the application of alternative energy sources for navigation. In this context, an action plan for shipping will be defined, which will define appropriate emission standards for the coming period. Also, in air transport, the Republic of Croatia will define a plan and elaborate detailed guidelines for achieving significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.

Japan is already promoting the standardization of hydrogen station-related products by actively submitting proposals to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). By considering international standardization in parallel with future technological development as well as corporate and market trends, we will promote the smooth market introduction of technologies that will be Japan's strength in order to capture the hydrogen- related market, which is estimated to be 270 trillion yen in 2050. For example, studies will be conducted to standardize hydrogen filling methods for large-scale mobility, equipment necessary for transporting liquefied hydrogen, and methods for measuring CO2 emissions during hydrogen production in order to establish an internationally consistent definition of clean hydrogen. Moreover, considering also the viewpoint of stable supply of hydrogen and export of infrastructure, by strengthening of relations with resource-rich countries, not only in terms of fossil fuels, but also those with high potential in renewable energy, and by active development of countries of demand, the government will lead establishment of stable, flexible and transparent international hydrogen market. In promoting such international collaboration, we will make maximum use of the Japan-led hydrogen ministerial conference, while also cooperating with the International Energy Agency (IEA). In addition, there will be sufficient collaboration with fields that utilize hydrogen in their value chains, such as ammonia and carbon recycling.

To complement the SDE+ with a scheme for smaller renewable energy systems, the investment subsidy scheme ISDE started in 2016, as follow up of agreements under the Energy Agreement. Households and small commercial users can apply for an allowance for the purchase of heat pumps, biomass boilers, solar water heaters, pellet stoves and small wood-fired boilers. The scheme was planned for the period 2016-2020 but the intention is to adapt the scheme under the planned climate agreement. One of the plans is to include subsidy possibilities for the periodo upto 2030 for various types of isolation measures.

A joint Equipment Energy Efficiency (E3) Programme has been developed with Australia. Energy efficiency measures, including energy rating labelling for a range of residential, commercial and industrial products, along with mandatory performance standards, allow both countries to set consistent standards and measures for energy efficiency.

To meet the 5-percent renewable energy goal by 2025, the government introduced net metering in 2017, with a tender-based feed-in tariff, which supports long-term contracts and guaranteed pricing for the cost of production of renewable energy, while a renewable energy mandate for new buildings is currently in progress. Net Metering is one of the three policies envisioned in the National Renewable Energy Action Plan to encourage the uptake of renewable energy in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This policy allows individuals, companies and industries to install solar and other renewable energy systems on their properties, connect these systems to the EWA electricity network and benefit from this clean and renewable energy source.

Capacity Building in energy audits was given for officers of the public service and agents promoting energy efficiency throughout Belize. The second phase of this program involved the implementation of these recommended energy conservation measures, and the final phase of the program focused on awareness creation of energy efficiency in lighting. This was done via a bulb exchange program to replace inefficient bulbs and tubes with LEDs in low income households. The bulb and tube exchange program involved trading in incandescent bulbs and compact fluorescent lamp for the more energy efficient light emitting diodes (LEDS). A total of 1,448 LED bulbs and 100 LED tubes were distributed to recipients in Dangriga, Sarawee and Hope Creek. The remaining 300 bulbs were distributed to other residents across the country.

The Low Emission Zone (LEZ) implies that the vehicles that do not respect the established thresholds (based on EURO standards) are banned. This measure has a significant influence on some pollutants affecting local air quality, but a rather limited impact on greenhouse gas (GHGs) emissions and climate change. http://www.lez.brussels/fr/content/la-lez. The Brussels NECP commits to modifications of the LEZ such as: strengthening control conditions, the introduction of a "pass" for light vehicles, reflexion over the creation of "zero emission zones".

The Equipment Energy Efficiency (E3) program is an initiative of the Australian Government, states and territories and the New Zealand Government. These groups combined to deliver a single, integrated program on energy efficiency standards and energy labelling for equipment and appliances. It is one of a number of programs implemented by the former Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Energy Council and now continues under Energy Minister's through the Energy Minister's meeting (EMM). An Inter-Governmental Agreement provides the framework for national cooperation on the E3 Program. A similar arrangement has also been developed to ensure alignment with New Zealand. On 1 October 2012, the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (GEMS) Act 2012 came into effect, creating a national framework for product energy efficiency in Australia. The GEMS Act is the underpinning legislation for the program. Mandatory Minimum Energy Performance Standards and mandatory Energy Rating Labels improve energy productivity and reduce energy consumed, thereby saving businesses and households money from their energy bills. Improved energy productivity and reduced energy consumption in turn reduces greenhouse emissions

The State of Queensland implements two feed-in tariff programmes: Market feed-in tariff and regional feed-in tariff. Market feed-in tariff is available in South East Queensland that is offered directly from the electricity retailer. Electricity retailers in South East Queensland (SEQ) voluntarily offer competitive feed-in tariff rates for solar power customers. Different electricity retailers offer different feed-in tariff rates. The Queensland Competition Authority monitors feed-in tariff offers in SEQ as part of its broader price monitoring role and provides customer options based on your likely usage.

The target of the programme is to strengthen the sale of technologies for renewable energies through investment incentives and to improve their profitability. Funding takes the form of a grant provided by the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA). Funding is available inter alia for efficient heat pumps and solar heating installations. The installation of a solar heating system and a heat pump at the same time is funded through a combination bonus.

The Decision No.11/2017/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister dated 11 April 2017 on the mechanism for encouragement of the development of solar power projects in Vietnam regulates mechanisms for encouragement of the development of solar power projects in Vietnam. The Decision contains provisions for funding, investment and incentives, including feed-in tariffs. Grid-connected solar power projects which have attained decision on investment policy issued by competent authorities before 23 November 2019 is eligible to apply the Feed-in Tariff scheme for solar power projects connected to the grid at power delivery point for the electricity generated by the part of the project or whole project that have been able achieved COD from 1st July 2019 to the end of 31st December 2020. The FIT is applied for twenty years from the commercial operation date.

The EU Biofuels Directive provides indicative targets for the use of biofuels in the transport sector. In November 2004, the directive was transposed into Austrian law through an amendment to the Fuel Ordice. This amendment stipulates that all companies that put fuels in circulation must, from 1 October 2005, replace 2.5% of the total energy quantity put in circulation with biofuels. From 2007, this percentage increased to 4.3%, and in 2008, the target of 5.75% has been achieved, two years in advance with respect to the EU deadline. The latest amendment of the Fuel Ordice, which defines the maximum share of biodiesel as of 7%, took place in 2009. The use of biofuels is done in Austria primarily through blending of biodiesel with diesel (since October 2005) and blending of bioethanol with petrol (since October 2007). Together with the amendment to the Fuel Ordice, the Mineral Oil Act has been revised to provide for tax concessions for fuels with a biofuel share of at least 6.6% for diesel and 4.6% for petrol. To be able to profit from the tax concessions, the fuel must also be sulphur-free (less than 10 mg sulphur per kg of fuel). The use of pure biofuels is completely exempt from tax.

Electric mobility is a key factor in ensuring the progressive replacement of fossil fuels in road transport for renewable electricity, contributing to an effective reduction of GHG emissions. It is therefore important to promote and support electric mobility by encouraging the introduction of electric vehicles and strengthening charging infrastructures.
