Abstract

The Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA), at its nineteenth session, noted an aim to address the issues referred to in paragraph 1 (h) of draft decision -/CMP.1 (Land use, land-use change and forestry), and the need to discuss the issues referred to in paragraph 3 (d) of decision 11/CP.7. The SBSTA invited Parties to submit to the secretariat, by 15 April 2004, their views on these issues and other related LULUCF issues (FCCC/SBSTA/2003/15, para. 24 (i)–(j)). The secretariat has received four such submissions. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, these submissions are reproduced in the language in which they were received and without formal editing.
