This document contains information from the European regional workshop on Article 6 of the Convention held in Belgium from 6 to 8 May 2003. Discussions resulted in several recommendations for future work in the UNECE region. The importance of networking activities to support efforts was acknowledged by participants, who also recommended that the possibility of organizing similar workshops in other regions be considered in order to develop new contacts and share ideas
