The 39^th meeting of the Least Developed Countries Expert Group took place virtually from 10 to 12 March 2021. The Group discussed progress in implementing its activities for 2020–2021 and in integrating a gender perspective into its work, and developed its work programme for 2021–2022. In addition, the meeting included discussions with representatives of the least developed countries on their priority needs for support, and with representatives of the Green Climate Fund, the Global Environment Facility and its agencies, and relevant organizations on providing support to the least developed countries.
