In addition to the list of intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations contained in document FCCC/CP/2005/2, the secretariat has prepared a further list of organizations (see annex) whose applications for admission as observer organizations at the eleventh session of the Conference of the Parties (COP) and the first session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (COP/MOP) were received after the deadline of 29 July 2005. This further list of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) has been reviewed by the Bureau of the COP. The members of the Bureau have not raised any objections to the organizations listed, and these organizations have been advised of their provisional admittance status for COP 11 and COP/MOP 1 on the understanding that the final authority for their admission rests with the COP. The COP is invited, at its first meeting, to accord observer status to the five NGOs listed in this addendum
