... and your opinion about it

As a new year begins, the 1.5 Degrees: A Climate Action Blog team is taking stock of what grabbed your attention in 2021. What a year it has been! From the opening of the Climate Action Blog on 26 February to the last piece on 20 December after COP 26 and before the holidays, we created a total of 85 articles, posted regularly from 2 to 3 times a week. Scroll down to discover the 5 most read blog post of the year!

In 2021, we collaborated with citizens, scientists, artists, and climate action leaders to bring clear and compelling stories to our readers. Their voices helped us explain what climate action is, what it looks like on the ground, what challenges are met and what successes were achieved, who its actors are – and importantly, what each of us can do to fight climate change. To all our partners and collaborators: thank you.

Although we have put equal work and energy in the crafting of each post, analytics have proven both our intuition and internal bets wrong. The blog’s most popular categories last year were (in no particular order): “innovative approaches and tools”, “resources”, “energy”, “Global Climate Action Awards”, “arts” and “climate neutrality”. The team had internally bet very differently, and that is why now, as we look forward to continuing and improving the blog, is a good moment to ask you for feedback and advice.

Thank you for taking our survey, so that we can ensure the blog contains the information you want to read. The survey will be open until 1 February.
