Today is the last day in office of UNFCCC Executive Secretary Christiana Figueres. Summarizing her 6 years in office as the UN's top climate change official in a farewell video, she says: "We went from minimal action on the critical issue of climate change, to a historical agreement in Paris in December of last year, with almost the maximum amount of ambition possible..It took all the governments of the world, and it took all of you...The transformation we will see over the next months and years will be truly amazing."
