Report

The side event provided a brief overview of the work of the Paris Committee on Capacity-building (PCCB) in 2018, including work on assessing capacity gaps and needs related to the implementation of nationally determined contributions (NDCs), work on cross-cutting issues such as gender responsiveness and human rights, and the launch of the Capacity-building Hub on Facebook. This was complemented by a panel discussion on issues and developments related to capacity-building for NDC implementation and an open exchange with the audience.

PCCB side event - audience question
Question from audience member
Created in 2015, the PCCB aims to address current and emerging gaps and needs in implementing capacity-building in developing countries and to further enhance capacity-building efforts. At each COP, the PCCB organizes a side event to inform interested Parties and Non-Party stakeholders about its latest work and activities, and to create a space for interactive discussions and exchanges with the speakers and among the participants.
